Monsters on Holiday
Everyone deserves a vacation. Even monster families.
In Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation, Dracula goes on a luxurious monster cruise with his daughter Mavis, her husband Johnny, and their young son Dennis. Drac’s a widower. He starts to feel lonely when he sees all the couples enjoying their time together. Then he meets the cruise director, Ericka. He falls instantly in love. But the happy trip may not stay that way. A vampire hunter lurks aboard the ship, and he’s looking to ruin the family’s perfect vacation.
Asher Blinkoff, 9, voices the role of Dennis, Drac’s half-vampire, half-human grandson. Asher calls Hotel Transylvania 3 “a big summer adventure for the whole family” and tells TIME for Kids readers to expect “lots of surprises.”
Asher was just 6 years old when he played Dennis in Hotel Transylvania 2. He says that making the two movies has helped him grow as a person. “I enjoyed this one,” he says. “Before, I felt shyer, but now I feel more confident.” Asher’s confident, too, that kids will enjoy the latest installment in the Hotel Transylvania series. The movie hits theaters July 13.
