All in the Family

Everyone’s favorite family of superheroes is back in theaters on June 15. In Pixar’s Incredibles 2, Elastigirl is busy fighting crime while Mr. Incredible takes care of their kids, Violet, Dash, and baby Jack-Jack. Life isn’t easy for the family, especially with Jack-Jack’s emerging superpowers. Now they must work together and, with the help of an old friend, face a brilliant new villain. Huck Milner voices Dash Parr, the speedster son. “The Incredibles was my favorite movie,” Huck, 10, told TFK Kid Reporter Christopher Nguyen. “I was thrilled to get the part.” Huck practiced by imitating Dash’s voice while watching the original 2004 film. It took him only four days to record his lines, but it took the filmmakers more than a year to create the movie—and Huck says it was worth the wait. “It’s a family movie everyone can relate to,” he says. He offers advice for those who are new to this incredible crew: “You’ll have to see the first movie because this one picks up right where it ended.”
